Loan Officer
We’re hiring a Loan Officer to join our team and play a critical role in evaluating, structuring, and managing loan applications for small businesses and entrepreneurs in underserved communities in the greater Philadelphia region. This hybrid role balances remote work with in-person client engagement.

Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in lending, credit analysis, or financial services
- Knowledge of CDFI operations and programs
- Experience with CRM and loan management software
- Strong financial analysis and business plan review skills
- Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused mindset
- Ability to travel within the service area for site visits
- High degree of attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience working with diverse communities
Responsibilities:
- Loan Origination and Underwriting
- Identify clients and assess creditworthiness.
- Review financial documents and prepare loan packages for approval.
- Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain client relationships.
- Provide guidance on loan applications and conduct site visits.
- Portfolio Management
- Monitor active loans for timely payments and compliance.
- Address delinquency through proactive communication.
- Community Engagement and Outreach
- Represent VestedIn at events and promote loan products.
- Reporting and Compliance
- Keep accurate records and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
